Ricardo J. Iriart, Principal
Ricardo J. Iriart is the founder and principal partner of Noblia Advisors. Mr. Iriart has over 30 years of global corporate and private equity experience in strategy, finance and operations acquired with leading Fortune 500 and Private equity firms. His international career took him to live and work in seven countries in North America, South America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East holding responsibility for large professional teams in over twenty countries and businesses with over $1 billion in revenues. Previous executive roles include Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Business Development, Corporate Strategy Director, Investment Banker, International Treasury, Board Member and Audit Committee Chair. Mr. Iriart holds a degree in business administration from the University of Buenos Aires and is an active certified public accountant who attended several executive education programs in leadership, strategy and finance at Stanford University, the University of Chicago and The Center for Creative Leadership among other institutions. Mr. Iriart is a member of the American and Pennsylvania CPA Institutes, serves in the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Financial Executives International and also as Director of Noblia’s partner firm Blue Water Growth LLC.
Profesional Experience
- Led a cross-functional team at a large Australian joint venture company, redefining its manufacturing and product supply strategy and addressing structural profitability issues.
- Acted as Strategy Director for a multi-disciplinary team reassessing strategic options to address benefits legacy costs for a major US corporation which resulted in the creation of an innovative, first VEBA trust in the US automotive industry.
- Partnered as senior executive team member in two major business turnarounds in the Americas for two large US public corporations.
- Led a multifunctional team realizing synergies between the corporate head office and two major business units located in the US and Canada in the areas of Supply Chain, Finance, IT and Human Resources.
- Directed the successful first time implementation of a compliance framework under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) legislation for a large international business unit operating across 10 countries.
- Acted as executive sponsor for the refinancing of a e$505 million (euro) European credit facility for a multi-billion joint venture of a US corporation.
- Established an IT shared Services platform for an international business unit of a major US public corporation with over 1Billion in revenue and an India offshore office for the US operations of another US global public corporation.
